Nilpotent Lie algebras of derivations with the center of small corank

Abstract

Let $\mathbb K$ be a field of characteristic zero, $A$ an integral domain over $\mathbb K$ with the field of fractions $R = \text{Frac}(A),$ and $\text{Der}_{\mathbb{K}}A$ the Lie algebra of all $\mathbb K$-derivations on $A$. Let $W(A):=R\text{Der}_{\mathbb{K}} A$ and $L$ a nilpotent subalgebra of rank $n$ over $R$ of the Lie algebra $W(A).$ We prove that if the center $Z=Z(L)$ is of rank $\geq n-2$ over $R$ and $F=F(L)$ is the field of constants for $L$ in $R,$ then the Lie algebra $FL$ is contained in a locally nilpotent subalgebra of $ W(A)$ of rank $n$ over $R$ with a natural basis over the field $R.$ It is also also proved that the Lie algebra $FL$ can be isomorphically embedded (as an abstract Lie algebra) into the triangular Lie algebra $u_n(F)$ which was studied early by other authors.

Weighted Poisson polynomial rings in dimension three

We discuss Poisson structures on a weighted polynomial algebra $A:=\Bbbk[x, y, z]$ defined by a homogeneous element $Ω\in A$, called a potential. We start with classifying potentials $Ω$ of degree deg$(x)+$deg$(y)+$deg$(z)$ with any positive weight (deg$(x)$, deg$(y)$, deg$(z)$) and list all with isolated singularity. Based on the classification, we study the rigidity of $A$ in terms of graded twistings and classify Poisson fraction fields of $A/(Ω)$ for irreducible potentials. Using Poisson valuations, we characterize the Poisson automorphism group of $A$ when $Ω$ has an isolated singularity extending a nice result of Makar-Limanov-Turusbekova-Umirbaev. Finally, Poisson cohomology groups are computed for new classes of Poisson polynomial algebras.

Groupoids of finitely aligned higher-rank graphs via filters and graph morphisms

Higher-rank graphs are certain small categories that are a higher-dimensional generalisation of both directed graphs and free monoids. Path and boundary-path groupoids of finitely aligned higher-rank graphs are often constructed using either filters or graph morphisms. We generalise the graph morphism approach to finitely aligned P-graphs where (Q, P) is a weakly quasi-lattice ordered group, and we show the filter approach and the graph morphism approach yield isomorphic path and boundary-path groupoids. To do this, we define conjugacy of partial monoid actions such that conjugate actions have isomorphic semidirect product groupoids. Combining our results with others in the literature, we survey many isomorphic presentations of path and boundary-path groupoids at different levels of generality.
