Quantum tilting modules over local rings

Abstract

We show that tilting modules for quantum groups over local Noetherian domains exist and that the indecomposable tilting modules are parametrized by their highest weight. For this we introduce a model category ${\mathcal X}={\mathcal X}_{\mathscr A}(R)$ associated with a Noetherian ${\mathbb Z}[v,v^{-1}]$-domain ${\mathscr A}$ and a root system $R$. We show that if ${\mathscr A}$ is of quantum characteristic $0$, the model category contains all $U_{\mathscr A}$-modules that admit a Weyl filtration. If ${\mathscr A}$ is in addition local, we study torsion phenomena in the model category. This leads to a construction of torsion free objects in ${\mathcal X}$. We show that these correspond to tilting modules for the quantum group associated with ${\mathscr A}$ and $R$.

Intertwining Algebras and Affine Hecke Algebras for Finite Central Extensions of Classical $p$-adic Groups with Application to Metaplectic Groups

For a finite central extension $\tilde{G}$ of a classical $p$-adic reductive group, we consider the endomorphism algebra of some induced projective generator à la Bernstein of the category of smooth representations of $\tilde{G}$. In the case where the Levi subgroups decompose, we compute this algebra to get a result similar to the one previously obtained by the first author for classical $p$-adic groups, showing that this intertwining algebra is a twisted semi-direct product of an affine Hecke algebra with parameters by a twisted finite group algebra. We discuss also the case with non-decomposed Levi subgroups. We then give an application to the category of genuine representations of a $p$-adic metaplectic group. Using results of C. Mœglin relative to the Howe correspondence, we show that the Bernstein components of these groups are equivalent to tensor products of categories of unipotent representations of classical groups. This generalizes a previous result of the first author. It implies an equivalence of categories between the category of genuine representations of the $p$-adic metaplectic group and the direct sums of those of smooth representations of the corresponding split odd special orthogonal group and its pure inner form.

Representations of Super Yangians with Gelfand-Tsetlin bases

The evaluation homomorphism from the super Yangian $\mathrm Y(\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n})$ to the universal enveloping algebra $\mathrm U(\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n})$ allows one to regard the $\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}$-modules as $\mathrm Y(\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n})$-modules. In this paper, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for simple tensor products of covariant evaluation modules to be tame. We also provide an explicit construction of Gelfand-Tsetlin bases for tensor products of skew modules.

Generalized Jantzen filtration, hyperbolic restriction, and characteristic cycles

In this paper we give a geometric description of the behavior of analytic intertwining operators between parabolically induced representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathrm{F})$, where $\mathrm{F}$ is a local non-archimedean field, in terms of hyperbolic localization functors of Braden. As a consequence, we can show that the image of an intertwining operator is always semi-simple and give a lower bound on the order of its pole, which is conjectured to be an equality as well as an upper bound in terms of the singular support of certain perverse sheaves. Moreover, we are able to reduce the conjecture of Lapid and Mínguez on the shape of irreducible subrepresentations of induced representations to a computation of characteristic cycles. The theory of mixed Hodge modules plays a crucial role in the proofs.
