The Stieltjes Bootstrap for Feynman Integrals

Abstract

We prove that scalar Feynman integrals are Stieltjes functions in each kinematic variable $-p_i\cdot p_j$, as well as in the particle masses, for arbitrary loop order, arbitrary numbers of external legs, and arbitrary internal masses, whenever a certain exponent condition is satisfied. The proof rests on a canonical decomposition of the second Symanzik polynomial with manifestly non-negative coefficients indexed by spanning two-forests. We present a dedicated analysis of the case in which the kinematic variables satisfy relations, as frequently happens in physical applications. We argue that integration-by-parts relations allow the selection of master-integral bases in which every element is a Stieltjes function. The Stieltjes property guarantees the convergence of Padé approximants and provides determinantal (Hankel) constraints on the Taylor coefficients of master integrals that go beyond previously known complete-monotonicity bounds. We develop a numerical strategy that combines these Stieltjes constraints with differential equations to determine the master integrals in the Euclidean region via semidefinite optimization. We demonstrate this approach on the pedagogical example of the six-dimensional massive box integral, and then apply it to the calculation of previously unknown three-loop two-mass integrals needed for three-loop electroweak corrections to the $Z$- and Higgs-boson self-energies.

Time-like Janus Solution -- holographic global quantum quench --

We construct a time-like Janus solution, which is mediated by a time-dependent dilaton field in asymptotic AdS spacetime. This solution breaks the null energy condition, but we argue that it is nevertheless useful as a toy model of holographic global quantum quench. The dual CFT is given by conformal perturbation theory, where the primary scalar operator that is dual to the bulk dilaton field is coupled with a global-quench-type time-dependent source. We compute one-point functions of the scalar operator and the stress-energy tensor, and confirm that the results are consistent with the proposed CFT picture. We also evaluate the holographic entanglement entropy for late time after the global quench. Finite temperature version of the solution, which can be interpreted as a time-dependent black hole, is also discussed.

Non-Semisimple Integrability and Dynamical Limits

We investigate Jordan structure and dynamical limits in six families of integrable spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ chains obtained from the boost automorphism method. Local operator algebras connect nilpotent evolution on finite periodic chains to central defects in spectral additivity, polynomial unipotent $R$-matrices and constant braid limits. For conservative endpoint erosion, we determine the characteristic and minimal polynomials and show that the Jordan partition can change while both polynomials remain unchanged. We also identify the deletion limits that distinguish the parity obstruction to removing signs by diagonal similarity in Class 5 from the parity nilpotent dependence in Class 6. Matching expansions and fragmentation recursions yield exact amplitudes and survival probabilities for processes with killing. In addition, we establish criteria excluding conservative Markov realizations and determine which conservative completions of specified reaction densities admit regular $R$-matrices of difference form.

Relative entropy of entanglement and tripartite minimal surface

We propose a holographic dual of the relative entropy of entanglement for a boundary tripartition $A:B:C$. Our proposal is that, at the leading order, \begin{align} E_R(ρ_{AB}) = \frac{1}{4G_N}\Big[\mathrm{Area}(Γ_{\min}) - \mathrm{Area}(γ_{AB})\Big] \notag \end{align} where $Γ_{\min}$ is the minimal bulk tripartition surface and $γ_{AB}$ is the minimal surface homologous to $AB$. For a general random tensor network, we prove the corresponding upper bound by constructing a separable state associated with $Γ_{\min}$ and evaluating its relative entropy. We also establish the matching lower bound rigorously for networks of one, two, and three Haar random tensors by bounding the maximal tripartite product-state overlap. In appropriate geometries, the minimal tripartition surface can form a nontrivial tri-junction resembling the Mercedes logo. The proof proceeds by sequential optimization over candidate product states, which has a natural geometric interpretation as a local search for the minimal tripartition surface.
