Dielectric constant of holographic insulator from quantum geometry
Abstract
We study dielectric properties of holographic insulators from the quantum geometry of the ground state. We realize the insulating state by the pseudoscalar interaction of holographic fermions and calculate the fermionic Green function to extract the effective hamiltonian. We then derive the quantum metric and Berry curvature to compute the transports and finally get the dielectric constant from the imaginary part of conductivity.
