Right Coideal Subalgebras, Hopf Galois Objects, and $\imath$-Hopf Algebras

Abstract

We study right comodule algebras and their connections with Hopf bi-Galois objects and right coideal subalgebras. For a Hopf $2$-cocycle $σ$ on $K$ and a unital right-colinear algebra map $Γ:A\to K$, we show that $Γ:A_σ\to K^σ$ is an algebra map precisely when $σ$ is trivial on $\operatorname{im}Γ\otimes\operatorname{im}Γ$. We describe comodule-algebra morphisms $A_σ\to K^σ$ by characters and establish injectivity criteria using the coradical and extensions of characters to convolution-invertible functionals. For coactions on Hopf quotients projecting to the coproduct, character-evaluation maps are injective, and equality of their images is determined by a unique algebra character. For the $\imath$-Hopf algebras $H^\imath_τ$ of Chen--Lu--Pan--Ruan--Wang, with $H$ having a bijective antipode and a Hopf pairing, we obtain a Hopf bi-Galois realization $H^\imath_τ\hookrightarrow F_σ(H\otimes H^{\mathrm{cop}})$. We identify algebra characters with nonzero $τ$-twisted compatible maps $χ$ and prove that the corresponding morphisms $ξ_{τ,χ}$ of Chen--Lu--Pan--Ruan--Wang are injective, yielding right coideal realizations in $(H\otimes H)^\imath$. We classify the $H^\imath_τ$ up to comodule-algebra isomorphism and determine when these realizations have the same image.

Integral forms for Yangians of classical type

Let $\mathfrak g$ be a simple Lie algebra of classical type. We construct a $\mathbb Z[1/2]$-integral form of the Yangian $Y(\mathfrak g)$ generated by divided powers of the positive and negative Drinfeld generators, and establish its triangular decomposition and PBW basis. Under the loop filtration, its associated graded algebra is the current algebra part of Garland's integral form. As applications, over an algebraically closed field of characteristic $p>3$, we identify the small Yangian with the restricted Yangian and classify their finite dimensional simple modules in terms of restricted Drinfeld polynomials.

Quantum Color Newton Rings

We study integral Newton rings attached to symmetric quantum colors. We show that their boundary values at a deleted node are exactly the elements of Habiro's cyclotomic completion, and we describe their quantum neighborhoods at $q=1$ uniformly in the rank. The symmetric-color $\mathfrak{sl}_n$ invariants of a knot are the values of an element of such a ring. In its expansion at $q=1$, the coefficient of $(q-1)^m$ has denominator dividing the $(n-1+2m)$th power of the Alexander polynomial, with integral numerator, and this exponent is sharp. For $5_2$ and $6_1$ at $q=i$, the period matrices of the rank-two coefficient recurrences have spectral modules of exact order three in the Picard group of an affine elliptic curve.

Non-Equivalence of Smooth and Nodal Conformal Block Functors in Logarithmic CFT

Let $\mathbb V$ be an $\mathbb N$-graded, $C_2$-cofinite vertex operator algebra (VOA) admitting a non-lowest generated module in $\mathrm{Mod}(\mathbb V)$ (e.g., the triplet algebras $\mathcal{W}_p$ for $p\in \mathbb{Z}_{\geq 2}$ or the even symplectic fermion VOAs $SF_d^+$ for $d\in \mathbb{Z}_+$). We prove that, unlike in the rational case, for $N\geq 4$ there is no vector bundle on $\overline{\mathcal{M}}_{0,N}$ whose fibers are the spaces of conformal blocks associated to certain $\mathbb{V}$-modules, since the dimensions of these conformal block spaces differ between smooth and nodal curves. Consequently, the sheaf of coinvariants associated to these $\mathbb V$-modules on $\overline{\mathcal{M}}_{0,N}$ is not locally free for $N\geq 4$. It also follows that, unlike in the rational case, the mode transition algebra $\mathfrak A$ introduced by Damiolini-Gibney-Krashen is not isomorphic to the end $\mathbb E=\int_{\mathbb X\in \mathrm{Mod}(\mathbb X)}\mathbb X\otimes \mathbb{X}'$ as an object of $\mathrm{Mod}(\mathbb{V}^{\otimes 2})$.
