Insights into the Kinematic Evolution of Filament-Induced Jets: Coupling of Interchange and Flare Reconnection
Abstract
Jets are ubiquitous eruptive activities in the solar atmosphere, playing an important role in mass transport, atmospheric heating, and energy supply. However, the triggering mechanism remains elusive. To reveal the fine process of jet evolution, we study a jet associated with a B-class flare that involves in two distinct stages. Analyzing the complete evolution of a solar jet captured by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), we clearly identify its dual-stage kinematics, evolving from interchange to flare reconnection. This dual-stage jet is characterized by distinct dual-stage signatures in magnetic morphology, H$α$ profile, jet speed, jet height, X-ray flux, loop-top source, and temperature. These differences are naturally unified by a physical picture coupling interchange and flare reconnection, offering new insights into understanding of the physical process of filament-induced jets.
