Modified Affine Hecke Algebras and Drinfeldians of Type A

Abstract

We introduce a modified affine Hecke algebra $\h{H}^{+}_{qη}({l})$ ($\h{H}_{qη}({l})$) which depends on two deformation parameters $q$ and $η$. When the parameter $η$ is equal to zero the algebra $\h{H}_{qη=0}(l)$ coincides with the usual affine Hecke algebra $\h{H}_{q}(l)$ of type $A_{l-1}$, if the parameter q goes to 1 the algebra $\h{H}^{+}_{q=1η}(l)$ is isomorphic to the degenerate affine Hecke algebra $\Lm_η(l)$ introduced by Drinfeld. We construct a functor from a category of representations of $H_{qη}^{+}(l)$ into a category of representations of Drinfeldian $D_{qη}(sl(n+1))$ which has been introduced by the first author.

Graded Necklace Lie Bialgebras and Batalin-Vilkovisky Formalism

An involutive Lie bialgebra induces a Batalin-Vilkovisky operator on its exterior algebra. We introduce a graded generalization of the necklace Lie bialgebra, which depends on a choice of a quiver $Q$. We relate the resulting Batalin-Vilkovisky structure to the Batalin-Vilkovisky structure coming from a degree $-1$ symplectic form on a suitably defined representation variety of the quiver $Q$. The morphism intertwining these Batalin-Vilkovisky algebras will be given by a twisted trace, recovering the usual (super)trace and the odd trace.

$C_2$-Cofiniteness and Rationality of the Icosahedral Orbifold $V_{L_2}^{A_5}$

Let $L_2=\mathbb{Z}α$ be the rank-one root lattice with $(α,α)=2$, and let $A_5$ act on the lattice vertex operator algebra $V_{L_2}$ through an icosahedral subgroup of $\operatorname{Aut}(V_{L_2})\cong PSL_2(\mathbb{C})$. We prove that the fixed-point vertex operator algebra $V_{L_2}^{A_5}$ is strongly rational.

The R-matrix presentation for the rational form of a quantized enveloping algebra

Let $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$ denote the rational form of the quantized enveloping algebra associated to a complex simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$. Let $λ$ be a nonzero dominant integral weight of $\mathfrak{g}$, and let $V$ be the corresponding type $1$ finite-dimensional irreducible representation of $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$. Starting from this data, the $R$-matrix formalism for quantum groups outputs a Hopf algebra $\mathbf{U}_\mathrm{R}^λ(\mathfrak{g})$ defined in terms of a pair of generating matrices satisfying well-known quadratic matrix relations. In this paper, we prove that this Hopf algebra admits a Chevalley-Serre type presentation which can be recovered from that of $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$ by adding a single invertible quantum Cartan element. We simultaneously establish that $\mathbf{U}_\mathrm{R}^λ(\mathfrak{g})$ can be realized as a Hopf subalgebra of the tensor product of the space of Laurent polynomials in a single variable with the quantized enveloping algebra associated to the lattice generated by the weights of $V$. The proofs of these results are based on a detailed analysis of the homogeneous components of the matrix equations and generating matrices defining $\mathbf{U}_\mathrm{R}^λ(\mathfrak{g})$, with respect to a natural grading by the root lattice of $\mathfrak{g}$ compatible with the weight space decomposition of $\mathrm{End}(V)$.
