Rational Points on Danielewski Surfaces over Finite fields and Polygonal Numbers
We study the number of $\mathbb{F}_q$-rational points on Danielewski and double Danielewski surfaces over the finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$ and show an interesting connection with the polygonal numbers.
