Nonprojective $\mathscr{M}$-manifolds
In a previous paper, the authors introduced, by analogy with Stein manifolds, a class of complex manifolds called $\mathscr{M}$-manifolds. This class contains all complex projective manifolds. Moreover, every compact $\mathscr{M}$-manifold is Moishezon. In this note, we construct examples showing that the class of compact $\mathscr{M}$-manifolds sits properly between the classes of projective and Moishezon manifolds.
