VideoX-Qwen: Data-Centric Instruction-Based Video Editing

Progress in general-purpose video editing depends on constructing large-scale paired supervision and effectively adapting video-generation backbones to instruction-driven editing. Unlike video generation, video editing must execute a requested transformation while preserving unrelated subjects, scene structure, motion, and temporal continuity. We present VideoX-Qwen, an integrated data-construction and model-training framework for general instruction-based video editing. Our scalable production pipeline organizes specialized generation and understanding models into complementary routes for addition, removal, replacement, and attribute editing, followed by quality screening and instruction enrichment. It produces more than 1.2 million directional video-editing records, including over 400,000 records in each major task group, with an automatic acceptance rate of 89%. The resulting corpus provides broad and structured coverage of common editing operations through a unified source-instruction-target interface. We further develop a unified Qwen-Wan editor that combines multimodal semantic conditioning with dense source-video latent guidance. A progressive image-video training strategy aligns the multimodal instruction interface, adapts the video generator to source-conditioned editing, and refines output quality with selected high-resolution data. In a 100-example comparison with UniVideo and Kling O1, VideoX-Qwen achieves the best mean result on nine of eleven reported metrics, including instruction following, editing quality, content preservation, structural and perceptual similarity, and video-distribution quality. Together, the large-scale data-production system and unified training framework provide a practical foundation for more capable instruction-driven video editing.

InstructVVT: Instruction-Driven Video Virtual Try-On without Auxiliary Spatial Priors

Video virtual try-on is a highly constrained editing task requiring the precise replacement of a target person's clothing while strictly preserving the original video's spatial structure and temporal dynamics. Existing methods heavily rely on auxiliary handcrafted spatial priors (e.g., masks, poses) for editing control. However, these priors are prone to failure in unconstrained real-world videos and often compress rich visual context into incomplete structural signals. Furthermore, standard reconstruction objectives fail to fully capture try-on-specific human preferences. To address these challenges, we propose InstructVVT, an instruction-driven and reference-guided video virtual try-on framework based on a Diffusion Transformer (DiT) that operates without inference-time spatial priors. Our core insight is to recover fine-grained control directly from the input triplet (source video, reference garment, and instruction) via a dual-level reference conditioning scheme. Specifically, an MLLM infers semantic edit tokens for target disambiguation and structural preservation, while a lightweight conditioning pathway explicitly injects fine-grained visual garment details. Finally, we design a try-on-specific reward and utilize the DiffusionNFT algorithm to align the model with human preferences. Extensive experiments on ViViD-S and TripVVT-Bench demonstrate that InstructVVT outperforms state-of-the-art open-source methods in garment fidelity, structural preservation, and temporal consistency, despite requiring fewer inference-time controls.

TripVVT: A Large-Scale Triplet Dataset and a Coarse-Mask Baseline for In-the-Wild Video Virtual Try-On

Due to the scarcity of large-scale in-the-wild triplet data and the improper use of masks, the performance of video virtual try-on models remains limited. In this paper, we first introduce **TripVVT-10K**, the largest and most diverse in-the-wild triplet dataset to date, providing explicit video-level cross-garment supervision that existing video datasets lack. Built upon this resource, we develop **TripVVT**, a Diffusion Transformer-based framework that replaces fragile garment masks with a simple, stable human-mask prior, enabling reliable background preservation while remaining robust to real-world motion, occlusion, and cluttered scenes. To support comprehensive evaluation, we further establish **TripVVT-Bench**, a 100-case benchmark covering diverse garments, complex environments, and multi-person scenarios, with metrics spanning video quality, try-on fidelity, background consistency, and temporal coherence. Compared to state-of-the-art academic and commercial systems, TripVVT achieves superior video quality and garment fidelity while markedly improving generalization to challenging in-the-wild videos. We publicly release the dataset and benchmark, which we believe provide a solid foundation for advancing controllable, realistic, and temporally stable video virtual try-on.
