SpecUltra: A Unified Foundation Model for Heterogeneous Spectral Images

Spectral imagery, including hyperspectral image (HSI) and multispectral image (MSI), exhibits substantial heterogeneity in band numbers, wavelengths, spectral resolutions, hindering unified modeling and cross-sensor transfer. From the perspective of imaging physics, these heterogeneous observations can be regarded as discrete measurements of an underlying continuous spectrum acquired through different sampling processes. Motivated by this perspective, we propose SpecUltra, a unified foundation model for heterogeneous spectral images. Specifically, SpecUltra employs 3D convolutional tokenization and wavelength-aware 3D RoPE to encode relative wavelength and spatial relationships, enabling fine-grained spatial-spectral modeling within a shared coordinate system. We further construct MultiHyper-200K, a large-scale multi-sensor HSI dataset, and pretrain SpecUltra using auxiliary-token-assisted mask image modeling (MIM), where a level token indicates the radiometric product type and register tokens absorb sensor- and acquisition-dependent variations. To bridge the spectral-granularity gap between HSI and MSI, we introduce Spectral Kernel Transformation (SKT), which transfers pretrained knowledge in parameter space by constructing MSI embedding kernels from fine-grained HSI-pretrained kernel slices. This design preserves pretrained spectral priors while maintaining compatibility with the pretrained backbone. Experiments on HSI and MSI classification and segmentation benchmarks demonstrate state-of-the-art or competitive performance across disparate sensors and downstream tasks.

Contrastive Federated Learning with Tabular Data Silos

Learning from vertical partitioned data silos is challenging due to the segmented nature of data, sample misalignment, and strict privacy concerns. Federated learning has been proposed as a solution. However, sample misalignment across silos often hinders optimal model performance and suggests data sharing within the model, which breaks privacy. Our proposed solution is Contrastive Federated Learning with Tabular Data Silos (CFL), which offers a solution for data silos with sample misalignment without the need for sharing original or representative data to maintain privacy. CFL begins with local acquisition of contrastive representations of the data within each silo and aggregates knowledge from other silos through the federated learning algorithm. Our experiments demonstrate that CFL solves the limitations of existing algorithms for data silos and outperforms existing tabular contrastive learning. CFL provides performance improvements without loosening privacy.

StyleBrush: Style Extraction and Transfer from a Single Image

Stylization for visual content aims to add specific style patterns at the pixel level while preserving the original structural features. Compared with using predefined styles, stylization guided by reference style images is more challenging, where the main difficulty is to effectively separate style from structural elements. In this paper, we propose StyleBrush, a method that accurately captures styles from a reference image and ``brushes'' the extracted style onto other input visual content. Specifically, our architecture consists of two branches: ReferenceNet, which extracts style from the reference image, and Structure Guider, which extracts structural features from the input image, thus enabling image-guided stylization. We utilize LLM and T2I models to create a dataset comprising 100K high-quality style images, encompassing a diverse range of styles and contents with high aesthetic score. To construct training pairs, we crop different regions of the same training image. Experiments show that our approach achieves state-of-the-art results through both qualitative and quantitative analyses. We will release our code and dataset upon acceptance of the paper.

PAC: Partial Area Cluster for adjusting the distribution of transportation platforms in modern cities

In the modern city, the utilization rate of public transportation attached importance to the efficiency of public traffic. However, the unreasonable distribution of transportation platforms results in a low utilization rate. In this paper, we researched and evaluated the distribution of platforms -- bus and subway -- and proposed a method, called "partial area cluster" (PAC), to improve the utilization by changing and renewing the original distribution. The novel method was based on the K-means algorithm in the field of machine learning. PAC worked to search the suitable bus platforms as the center and modified the original one to the subway. Experience has shown that the use of public transport resources has increased by 20%. The study uses a similar cluster algorithm to solve transport networks' problems in a novel but practical term. As a result, the PAC is expected to be used extensively in the transportation system construction process.
