Input to the SCAC Facilities Subcommittee from the U.S. Muon Collider Collaboration
This document presents input from the U.S. Muon Collider Collaboration to the SCAC Facilities Subcommittee. It outlines the scientific motivation for a future Muon Collider, the R&D and demonstration program needed to establish its feasibility, and its relevance to U.S. facilities planning for 2026-2036. It also discusses opportunities for leveraging existing U.S. capabilities, developing the accelerator workforce, and building synergies with other DOE programs and international efforts.
