From Scores to Evidence: Auditable Decisions Can Improve Speech Deepfake Detection

Speech deepfake detectors usually emit one score per utterance, but a borderline score does not reveal why two examples differ during retrospective error analysis. We ask whether a final score can be calibrated from component fields while keeping those fields visible for inspection. We build a decision record with a passive detector score and a score from a probe applied to a marked copy. It also includes retrieval support held out of the evaluated family, a margin from a support-set profile, and raw neighbor closeness. A cross-fit calibrator combines these fields and two differences between raw scores into one final score. On matched ASVspoof development data, the calibrated record reduces equal error rate (EER) by 3.48 percentage points relative to the fixed retrieval-augmented rule. It reaches 8.43% EER, whereas a passive WavLM baseline reaches 6.71% on the same subset. The record is therefore not the strongest detector in this comparison. Its value is to retain inspectable component fields while producing one scalar score for retrospective diagnosis.

Reliable and Real-Time Highway Trajectory Planning via Hybrid Learning-Optimization Frameworks

Autonomous highway driving involves high-speed safety risks due to limited reaction time, where rare but dangerous events may lead to severe consequences. This places stringent requirements on trajectory planning in terms of both reliability and computational efficiency. This paper proposes a hybrid highway trajectory planning (H-HTP) framework that integrates learning-based adaptability with optimization-based formal safety guarantees. The key design principle is a deliberate division of labor: a learning module generates a traffic-adaptive velocity profile, while all safety-critical decisions including collision avoidance and kinematic feasibility are delegated to a Mixed-Integer Quadratic Program (MIQP). This design ensures that formal safety constraints are always enforced, regardless of the complexity of multi-vehicle interactions. A linearization strategy for the vehicle geometry substantially reduces the number of integer variables, enabling real-time optimization without sacrificing formal safety guarantees. Experiments on the HighD dataset demonstrate that H-HTP achieves a scenario success rate above 97% with an average planning-cycle time of approximately 54 ms, reliably producing smooth, kinematically feasible, and collision-free trajectories in safety-critical highway scenarios.

GVMGen: A General Video-to-Music Generation Model with Hierarchical Attentions

Composing music for video is essential yet challenging, leading to a growing interest in automating music generation for video applications. Existing approaches often struggle to achieve robust music-video correspondence and generative diversity, primarily due to inadequate feature alignment methods and insufficient datasets. In this study, we present General Video-to-Music Generation model (GVMGen), designed for generating high-related music to the video input. Our model employs hierarchical attentions to extract and align video features with music in both spatial and temporal dimensions, ensuring the preservation of pertinent features while minimizing redundancy. Remarkably, our method is versatile, capable of generating multi-style music from different video inputs, even in zero-shot scenarios. We also propose an evaluation model along with two novel objective metrics for assessing video-music alignment. Additionally, we have compiled a large-scale dataset comprising diverse types of video-music pairs. Experimental results demonstrate that GVMGen surpasses previous models in terms of music-video correspondence, generative diversity, and application universality.
