Super Apriel: One Checkpoint, Many Speeds

We release Super Apriel, a 15B-parameter supernet in which every decoder layer provides four trained mixer choices -- Full Attention (FA), Sliding Window Attention (SWA), Kimi Delta Attention (KDA), and Gated DeltaNet (GDN). A placement selects one mixer per layer; placements can be switched between requests at serving time without reloading weights, enabling multiple speed presets from a single checkpoint. The shared checkpoint also enables speculative decoding without a separate draft model. The all-FA preset matches the Apriel 1.6 teacher on all reported benchmarks; recommended hybrid presets span $2.9\times$ to $10.7\times$ decode throughput at 96% to 77% quality retention, with throughput advantages that compound at longer context lengths. With four mixer types across 48 layers, the configuration space is vast. A surrogate that predicts placement quality from the per-layer mixer assignment makes the speed-quality landscape tractable and identifies the best tradeoffs at each speed level. We investigate whether the best configurations at each speed level can be identified early in training or only after convergence. Rankings stabilize quickly at 0.5B scale, but the most efficient configurations exhibit higher instability at 15B, cautioning against extrapolation from smaller models. Super Apriel is trained by stochastic distillation from a frozen Apriel 1.6 teacher, followed by supervised fine-tuning. We release the supernet weights, Fast-LLM training code, vLLM serving code, and a placement optimization toolkit.

Improved measurement of Born cross sections for $χ_{bJ}\,ω$ and $χ_{bJ}\,(π^+π^-π^0)_{\rm non-ω}$ ($J$ = 0, 1, 2) at Belle and Belle II

We study the processes $χ_{bJ}\,ω$ and $χ_{bJ}\,(π^+π^-π^0)_{\rm non-ω}$ ($J$ = 0, 1, 2) at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$ from 10.73 to 11.02 GeV using a $142.5\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider; and at $\sqrt{s}\sim10.75$ GeV using a $19.8\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ sample collected with Belle II at SuperKEKB. We find that the $Υ(10753)$ state decays into $χ_{bJ}\,ω$ but not into $χ_{bJ}\,(π^+π^-π^0)_{\rm non-ω}$, while the $Υ(10860)$ state, in contrast, decays into $χ_{bJ}\,(π^+π^-π^0)_{\rm non-ω}$ but not into $χ_{bJ}\,ω$. The mass and width of the $Υ(10753)$ state are measured to be $(10756.1\pm3.4({\rm stat.})\pm2.7({\rm syst.}))$ MeV/$c^2$ and $(32.2\pm11.3({\rm stat.})\pm14.9({\rm syst.}))$ MeV. The products of the partial width to $e^+e^-$ and branching fractions for $Υ(10753)\toχ_{b1}\,ω$ and $Υ(10753)\toχ_{b2}\,ω$ are ($1.57\pm0.27({\rm stat.})\pm 0.22({\rm syst.})$) eV and ($1.39\pm0.41({\rm stat.})\pm 0.33({\rm syst.})$) eV.

Nemotron 3 Super: Open, Efficient Mixture-of-Experts Hybrid Mamba-Transformer Model for Agentic Reasoning

We describe the pre-training, post-training, and quantization of Nemotron 3 Super, a 120 billion (active 12 billion) parameter hybrid Mamba-Attention Mixture-of-Experts model. Nemotron 3 Super is the first model in the Nemotron 3 family to 1) be pre-trained in NVFP4, 2) leverage LatentMoE, a new Mixture-of-Experts architecture that optimizes for both accuracy per FLOP and accuracy per parameter, and 3) include MTP layers for inference acceleration through native speculative decoding. We pre-trained Nemotron 3 Super on 25 trillion tokens followed by post-training using supervised fine tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning (RL). The final model supports up to 1M context length and achieves comparable accuracy on common benchmarks, while also achieving up to 2.2x and 7.5x higher inference throughput compared to GPT-OSS-120B and Qwen3.5-122B, respectively. Nemotron 3 Super datasets, along with the base, post-trained, and quantized checkpoints, are open-sourced on HuggingFace.

Spectroscopic Characterization of WD J000801.25-350450 and its Two Co-Moving Companions

We present new spectroscopic data for Gaia DR3 2309499817384726016 (WD0008-350A) and its two wide, co-moving, low-mass companions. We confirm the white dwarf is a hydrogen-rich DA, with T$_{\rm eff}$=6200$\pm$90~K and a mass of 0.63$\pm$0.03~M${\odot}$, close to that of the average white dwarf. Near-infrared spectra of the two stellar companions to WD0008-350A reveal that the inner companion is an M dwarf, exhibiting a spectral type of M8. Furthermore, the outer companion is identified as a possible M6 + M9 binary. This paper examines the evidence which suggests the system may be quadruple.

HY-Embodied-0.5: Embodied Foundation Models for Real-World Agents

We introduce HY-Embodied-0.5, a family of foundation models specifically designed for real-world embodied agents. To bridge the gap between general Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and the demands of embodied agents, our models are developed to enhance the core capabilities required by embodied intelligence: spatial and temporal visual perception, alongside advanced embodied reasoning for prediction, interaction, and planning. The HY-Embodied-0.5 suite comprises two primary variants: an efficient model with 2B activated parameters designed for edge deployment, and a powerful model with 32B activated parameters targeted for complex reasoning. To support the fine-grained visual perception essential for embodied tasks, we adopt a Mixture-of-Transformers (MoT) architecture to enable modality-specific computing. By incorporating latent tokens, this design effectively enhances the perceptual representation of the models. To improve reasoning capabilities, we introduce an iterative, self-evolving post-training paradigm. Furthermore, we employ on-policy distillation to transfer the advanced capabilities of the large model to the smaller variant, thereby maximizing the performance potential of the compact model. Extensive evaluations across 22 benchmarks, spanning visual perception, spatial reasoning, and embodied understanding, demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach. Our MoT-2B model outperforms similarly sized state-of-the-art models on 16 benchmarks, while the 32B variant achieves performance comparable to frontier models such as Gemini 3.0 Pro. In downstream robot control experiments, we leverage our robust VLM foundation to train an effective Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model, achieving compelling results in real-world physical evaluations. Code and models are open-sourced at https://github.com/Tencent-Hunyuan/HY-Embodied.

Measurement of the CKM angle $γ$ in $B^{\pm} \rightarrow D(\rightarrow K^{0}_{\rm S} h^{\prime+}h^{\prime-})h^{\pm}$ decays with a novel approach

A measurement of the CKM angle $γ$ and related strong-phase parameters is performed using a novel, model-independent approach in ${B^{\pm}\rightarrow D(\rightarrow K^{0}_{\rm S} h^{\prime+}h^{\prime-}) h^{\pm}}$ decays, where $h^{(\prime)} \equiv π, K$. The analysis uses a joint data sample of electron-positron collisions collected by the BESIII experiment at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider II during 2010--2011 and 2021--2022, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8 fb$^{-1}$, and proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider during 2011--2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$. The two datasets are analyzed simultaneously by applying per-event weights based on the amplitude variation over the $D$-decay phase space to enhance the sensitivity to $C\!P$-violating observables. The CKM angle $γ$ is determined to be $γ= (71.3\pm 5.0)^{\circ}$, which constitutes the most precise single measurement to date.

Precise measurement of the CKM angle $γ$ with a novel approach

A measurement of the CKM angle $γ$ is performed by applying a novel, unbinned, model-independent approach to datasets of electron-positron collisions collected by the BESIII experiment and proton-proton collisions by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 8 fb$^{-1}$ and 9 fb$^{-1}$, respectively. The $C\!P$-violating phase $γ$ is determined from ${B^{\pm}\rightarrow D(\rightarrow K_{\rm S}^{0} h^{\prime+}h^{\prime-}) h^{\pm}}$ decays in LHCb data, where $h^{(\prime)}$ is either a pion or kaon, while the corresponding strong-phase parameters are measured using doubly tagged ${D\rightarrow K_{\rm S/L}^0 h^{\prime+} h^{\prime-}}$ decays in the quantum-correlated $D\overline{D}$ system present in BESIII data. A joint fit to both datasets, which allows for a simultaneous determination of the associated $C\!P$-violating observables and strong-phase parameters, yields ${γ= (71.3\pm 5.0)^{\circ}}$. The result is the most precise to date and consistent with previous measurements and world averages.

Voxtral Realtime

We introduce Voxtral Realtime, a natively streaming automatic speech recognition model that matches offline transcription quality at sub-second latency. Unlike approaches that adapt offline models through chunking or sliding windows, Voxtral Realtime is trained end-to-end for streaming, with explicit alignment between audio and text streams. Our architecture builds on the Delayed Streams Modeling framework, introducing a new causal audio encoder and Ada RMS-Norm for improved delay conditioning. We scale pretraining to a large-scale dataset spanning 13 languages. At a delay of 480ms, Voxtral Realtime achieves performance on par with Whisper, the most widely deployed offline transcription system. We release the model weights under the Apache 2.0 license.

Voxtral TTS

We introduce Voxtral TTS, an expressive multilingual text-to-speech model that generates natural speech from as little as 3 seconds of reference audio. Voxtral TTS adopts a hybrid architecture that combines auto-regressive generation of semantic speech tokens with flow-matching for acoustic tokens. These tokens are encoded and decoded with Voxtral Codec, a speech tokenizer trained from scratch with a hybrid VQ-FSQ quantization scheme. In human evaluations conducted by native speakers, Voxtral TTS is preferred for multilingual voice cloning due to its naturalness and expressivity, achieving a 68.4\% win rate over ElevenLabs Flash v2.5. We release the model weights under a CC BY-NC license.

Ring Asymmetry and Spin in M87*

Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) images of the supermassive black hole M87* depict an asymmetric ring of emission. General relativistic magnetohydrodynamic (GRMHD) models of M87* and its accretion disk predict that the amplitude and location of the ring's peak brightness asymmetry should fluctuate due to turbulence in the source plasma. We compare the observed distribution of brightness asymmetry amplitudes to the simulated distribution in GRMHD models, across varying black hole spin $a_{*}$. We show that, for strongly magnetized (MAD) models, three epochs of EHT data marginally disfavor $|a_{*}| \lesssim 0.2$. This is consistent with the Blandford-Znajek model for M87's jet, which predicts that M87* should have nonzero spin. We show quantitatively how future observations could improve spin constraints, and discuss how improved spin constraints could distinguish between differing jet-launching mechanisms and black hole growth scenarios.

Cosmogenic Neutron Production in Water at SNO+

Accurate measurement of the cosmogenic muon-induced neutron yield is crucial for constraining a significant background in a wide range of low-energy physics searches. Although previous underground experiments have measured this yield across various cosmogenic muon energies, SNO+ is uniquely positioned due to its exposure to one of the highest average cosmogenic muon energies at $364\,\text{GeV}$. Using ultra-pure water, we have determined a neutron yield of $Y_{n}=(3.38^{+0.23}_{-0.30})\times10^{-4}\,\text{cm}^{2}\text{g}^{-1}μ^{-1}$ at SNO+. Comparison with simulations demonstrates clear agreement with the FLUKA neutron production model, highlighting discrepancies with the widely used GEANT4 model. Furthermore, this measurement reveals a lower cosmogenic neutron yield than that observed by the SNO experiment, which used heavy water under identical muon flux conditions. This result provides new evidence that nuclear structure and target material composition significantly influence neutron production by cosmogenic muons, offering fresh insight with important implications for the design and background modelling of future underground experiments.

Ming-Flash-Omni: A Sparse, Unified Architecture for Multimodal Perception and Generation

We propose Ming-Flash-Omni, an upgraded version of Ming-Omni, built upon a sparser Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) variant of Ling-Flash-2.0 with 100 billion total parameters, of which only 6.1 billion are active per token. This architecture enables highly efficient scaling (dramatically improving computational efficiency while significantly expanding model capacity) and empowers stronger unified multimodal intelligence across vision, speech, and language, representing a key step toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Compared to its predecessor, the upgraded version exhibits substantial improvements across multimodal understanding and generation. Notably, it achieves strong performance on vision-language understanding benchmarks, with overall scores on par with Gemini 2.5 Pro, and enables seamless switching among multimodal tasks in multi-turn interactions. In speech, it achieves strong performance in contextual and dialect-aware ASR while enabling joint, continuous-generation of speech, sound, and music. In vision, it introduces generative semantic segmentation that achieves competitive standalone performance and enhances spatial control and editing consistency, alongside marked improvements in identity preservation, and high-fidelity in-image text rendering. Together, these capabilities demonstrate that a single unified model can serve as a practical foundation for general-purpose multimodal intelligence.

Composer 2 Technical Report

Composer 2 is a specialized model designed for agentic software engineering. The model demonstrates strong long-term planning and coding intelligence while maintaining the ability to efficiently solve problems for interactive use. The model is trained in two phases: first, continued pretraining to improve the model's knowledge and latent coding ability, followed by large-scale reinforcement learning to improve end-to-end coding performance through stronger reasoning, accurate multi-step execution, and coherence on long-horizon realistic coding problems. We develop infrastructure to support training in the same Cursor harness that is used by the deployed model, with equivalent tools and structure, and use environments that match real problems closely. To measure the ability of the model on increasingly difficult tasks, we introduce a benchmark derived from real software engineering problems in large codebases including our own. Composer 2 is a frontier-level coding model and demonstrates a process for training strong domain-specialized models. On our CursorBench evaluations the model achieves a major improvement in accuracy compared to previous Composer models (61.3). On public benchmarks the model scores 61.7 on Terminal-Bench and 73.7 on SWE-bench Multilingual in our harness, comparable to state-of-the-art systems.

Speed by Simplicity: A Single-Stream Architecture for Fast Audio-Video Generative Foundation Model

We present daVinci-MagiHuman, an open-source audio-video generative foundation model for human-centric generation. daVinci-MagiHuman jointly generates synchronized video and audio using a single-stream Transformer that processes text, video, and audio within a unified token sequence via self-attention only. This single-stream design avoids the complexity of multi-stream or cross-attention architectures while remaining easy to optimize with standard training and inference infrastructure. The model is particularly strong in human-centric scenarios, producing expressive facial performance, natural speech-expression coordination, realistic body motion, and precise audio-video synchronization. It supports multilingual spoken generation across Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), English, Japanese, Korean, German, and French. For efficient inference, we combine the single-stream backbone with model distillation, latent-space super-resolution, and a Turbo VAE decoder, enabling generation of a 5-second 256p video in 2 seconds on a single H100 GPU. In automatic evaluation, daVinci-MagiHuman achieves the highest visual quality and text alignment among leading open models, along with the lowest word error rate (14.60%) for speech intelligibility. In pairwise human evaluation, it achieves win rates of 80.0% against Ovi 1.1 and 60.9% against LTX 2.3 over 2000 comparisons. We open-source the complete model stack, including the base model, the distilled model, the super-resolution model, and the inference codebase.

A Family of LLMs Liberated from Static Vocabularies

Tokenization is a central component of natural language processing in current large language models (LLMs), enabling models to convert raw text into processable units. Although learned tokenizers are widely adopted, they exhibit notable limitations, including their large, fixed vocabulary sizes and poor adaptability to new domains or languages. We present a family of models with up to 70 billion parameters based on the hierarchical autoregressive transformer (HAT) architecture. In HAT, an encoder transformer aggregates bytes into word embeddings and then feeds them to the backbone, a classical autoregressive transformer. The outputs of the backbone are then cross-attended by the decoder and converted back into bytes. We show that we can reuse available pre-trained models by converting the Llama 3.1 8B and 70B models into the HAT architecture: Llama-3.1-8B-TFree-HAT and Llama-3.1-70B-TFree-HAT are byte-level models whose encoder and decoder are trained from scratch, but where we adapt the pre-trained Llama backbone, i.e., the transformer blocks with the embedding matrix and head removed, to handle word embeddings instead of the original tokens. We also provide a 7B HAT model, Llama-TFree-HAT-Pretrained, trained entirely from scratch on nearly 4 trillion words. The HAT architecture improves text compression by reducing the number of required sequence positions and enhances robustness to intra-word variations, e.g., spelling differences. Through pre-training, as well as subsequent supervised fine-tuning and direct preference optimization in English and German, we show strong proficiency in both languages, improving on the original Llama 3.1 in most benchmarks. We release our models (including 200 pre-training checkpoints) on Hugging Face.

Yuan3.0 Ultra: A Trillion-Parameter Enterprise-Oriented MoE LLM

We introduce Yuan3.0 Ultra, an open-source Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) large language model featuring 68.8B activated parameters and 1010B total parameters, specially designed to enhance performance on enterprise scenarios tasks while maintaining competitive capabilities on general purpose tasks. We propose Layer-Adaptive Expert Pruning (LAEP) algorithm designed for the pre-training stage of MoE LLMs. In contrast to previous expert pruning approaches that operate primarily in the post-training phase, the proposed algorithm enhances training efficiency by selectively pruning underutilized experts and reorganizing experts across computing devices according to token distribution statistics. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that LAEP effectively reduces model size and substantially improves pre-training efficiency. When pre-training Yuan3.0 Ultra from scratch original with 1515B parameters, this algorithm delivers a 49\% boost in pre-training efficiency and a 33.3\% reduction in total parameters, while preserving the model's outstanding multi-domain performance. On enterprise scenario benchmarks including Docmatix, ChatRAG, SummEval and MMTab, Yuan3.0 Ultra achieves leading accuracy. The model and codes are publicly available at https://github.com/Yuan-lab-LLM/Yuan3.0-Ultra.
